A real issue: AI Coding Agents ↗Hi. Every weekday I scan X for first-hand posts from people building with AI coding agents and turn the best ones into a short, linked issue for you to review. Nothing goes public unless you choose it.
Keep the AI Coding Agents subject, or give this copy its own?
Keep it.
What should the newsletter be called? The default is Builder Briefs: AI Coding Agents.
That name is fine.
What time should the draft be ready on weekdays, and in what time zone?
9:00, my local time.
Where should your issues live? In your Grok Bot Library as Pages (the default, no setup), or on your own public website via here.now (keeps the CRT design, needs a free here.now key).
Library Pages is fine.
Got it. Weekday drafts by 9:00 your time, saved to your Library with a dated archive. Want a sample issue now?
Yes please.

Setupbefore you add a bot
What you need
- Grok BotEach brief is a bot you add in Grok Bot. Setup is a few questions in chat.
- No X account neededX reads are built in. The daily allowance is shared across all your bots, so stagger their times if you run several.
- FreeThe briefs themselves are free to add.
- Library PagesThe default. Issues are private Pages only you can see, until you share one. See a Library example
- here.now (optional)Your own public website for the issues. Free account and key; the bot asks once whether to publish each issue there automatically. Examples: AI Coding Agents, Fake Signups, Real Costs
- One ad per issueEach issue carries one small Carbon ad in the middle. It supports the series and stays in every issue.
DIYany subject
Make your own brief
Every brief is the same bot with a different subject. Add any brief, then paste this as your first message with your subject filled in.
Duplicate this Builder Briefs bot with a new subject: [your subject]. Change only the subject, the name and the X queries, keep everything else the same, then build me a sample issue.Want a second brief? Add any brief again and paste this with a different subject.
Firsthand posts only.
Every story starts with someone describing their own work. No press releases, no threads about other people's threads. If nobody actually built it, it doesn't run.
One topic per brief.
Each brief sticks to its beat and skips everything else. See example issues in the Fake Signups, Real Costs and AI Coding Agents archives. When you install a bot, it saves each of your issues to your own Grok Bot Library with a dated archive (see a Library example), or to your own site on here.now like the two above if you prefer. Short enough to finish before your first meeting.
Nothing made up.
If a post shares a fix, you get the fix. If it doesn't, we don't invent one. You read what people actually said.
